I just downloaded auto menu 3. I would like to know after i make a build and save it can i go back to that same build and make changes to it ,because i remember i used to do it before but i can't remember how i did it. I go to file and then open but it is looking for a project and not the build.

If I am reading you right, the project will always have to be re-build to change the build. If you create a project - you can change it all you like and create different folders for different build, but if you need to change a build, you need to rebuild the project with the changes...

yes i would like to change a build which i have created a while back with a differnt text i am trying to make a xmas present to someone else so i just need to change the name on the old build i really do not want to create a new project because i do not have all the sound waves and jpegs to do it i would have to look for them all over again.

If you look in your output folder, you should be able to find those files, but I don't know if you can manipulate them without the originals...Mark?

When you say output folder do you mean the data folder . I really don't think I can do it from there. I can't get no tech support from the software company because i have a trail program.

Yes you can salvage the .wav .mp3 .avi etc files by going into the data folder. The files now have different extensions on them but you can rename them and reuse them.

            ex DATA\*.dav = video files
            DATA\*.dah = image files

for more on these extensions open the users guide in the help menu. Proceed to Building and distributing\building Your Menu.

            good luck
