Ok, subject a little confusing - but is there a way to tell which files are being used by a project and where on the harddrive they are?

Hi ,presumably you've started a project yea,
well they should be in you root C: and they will be in the *Virtual CD* folder ,which would have been created when you started the project.

I guess what I wanted to know for this reason : when I create a project, I often travel from my home computerm to my work computer and I need to get all the files in the project - so I wanted a way that showed me where on the driver the files were coming from so I could save them on a CD or disk and transfer them...having the virtual CD is nice, but it does not tell me where they are located on the drive, does it?

From the menu click on "Tools" and select "Create Zip Archive". The Zip file will contain all the files from your project.
