Registry Question

I was wondering, how can i receive the values from the registry that contain which CD Players software are installed on the user's machine, present the user with an option to choose the player, and finally play the CD with the user's preffered player.

Hi,
Sorry but I do not know where information like this is stored in the registry. You might try looking at the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.CDA key. If you could somehow read in all the information from the registry, the rest of the actions would not be very difficult.
Maybe other users know where this information is located in the registry.
