  • AutoPlay After Restart

I'm a newbie evaluating AutoPlay and pretty much have my organization hooked on purchase. Sorry if this may be a dumb question, but I'm stumped on one little item: many of the programs we wish to distribute on CD require system restarts after installation. Is there a way within AutoPlay Menu Studio itself to make a menu reappear after restart?

    Re: AutoPlay After Restart

    Hi,
If you want your AutoPlay menu to start after a reboot, simply put the path to your menu in the RUN ONCE registry key.
The RUN ONCE key is located here:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Runonce\
Simply insert a REG_SZ value into this key that contains the path your menu. Then when Windows re-starts so will your AutoPlay menu.

    mark.
