  • Selecting and resizing an object next to another. A glitch?

Whenever I want to resize an object next to another one, the one that gets selected is the other object.
For example, I have a list of items and their borders are next to each other. I click on one object and see its resizing handles. I carefully click on one of the handles and start resizing it. The actual item that gets selected and resized is the one next to it. Pretty annoying! I have to drag the item somewhere else, resize it and then move it back to its original location. Is there a trick to this?

I have a sort of similar problem with selecting. I select one item and another gets selected with it. I have to carefully pick the one item and check to make sure it is the only one selected - happens too often IMHO.

The trick here is to use the object browser.
      [Drop down menu View/ObjectBrowser]
Ensure all the buttons at the top are ON.
Click hide all. Click Lock all.
Then click the 'spectacles' next to the relevant object to expose it and then click the 'padlock' next to the relevant object to permit access to its attributes.
You can then right-click the object on the screen and process it.
Once finished, lock them all and show them all.

        Hi guys,

Wouldn't it be nice if we could grab the handles on an image? and resize it within APM and not have to resize it several times in another app before importing it?

Perhaps this should go in the "wish list" column. Couldn't resist.
