  • Combining menus

I have created two different menus. The second of which is currently in devolpment, while the first has already been released. I have the original AM3 and all files needed frm the first menu still. I want to incorpate the first menu into the second one as a demo of it. One way to do this is to modify the first, and make it into a demop and have the second menu run the EXE with a wait to return. I do not want to have both EXE's available on the CD, and instead want a single EXE which will be one really large menu. Now the question. Can you take objects and pages out of AM3 file and copy them into another? Or do you need to recreate the pages by hand again in the new EXE? I have found that if I copy and paste from one menu to another, that it works fine, but changes all the object labels. I really do not want to have to go back and change all the labels again (there are currently over 200-300 labels. -- way too many

    Re: Combining menus

    Dallasfreak,

I understand your delema and although there may be a workaround for you I don't know what it would be. I'll look into it in the next few days here at IR but in the end you may end up biting the bullet and changing the objects the long way. If you do find a workaround please let us all know.
