I downloaded a copy of AutoPlay and made an AutoStart CD-ROM which worked. I love AutoPlay and plan to buy, BUT --- Now, every time I click my C: my new AutoStart.exe started up. I moved the autorun files to a subfolder, and then I got an error message that Windows couldn't find autorun.exe.
What happened, and how can I fix.
The problem is that the autorun.inf file is probably still on the root of your C: drive. So when you try and open C: the autorun.inf file looks for your menu but it does not exist on the root. try deleting your autorun.inf file and that should solve your problem. Just for interest sake open up the autorun.inf file in notepad and see what is going on (very simple).
