    Quicktime 5
Exciting stuff, now supports for new codecs and file formats including, Flash4 and MPEG1.
On my understanding then this would allow a quicktime plugin to be installed on the menu and to run all videos in the high quality MPEG format eliminating all the jitters that you get with .avi.
Please correct me if i am wrong because it wouldn't be the first.
    Cheers

    Re: MPEG

    Hi,

I am not fully certain that I understand your post.

Are you asking if you can embed QuickTime into an AutoPlay Menu, enabling you to play embedded Flash or MPEG movies?

Or are you asking if installing the newest version of QuickTime on a User's system will enable you to play Flash or MPEG videos EXTERNAL to you AutoPlay Menu?

Basically there is no way to embed a version of QuickTime in your AutoPlay menu. But you can start a QuickTime installation using AutoPlay, and then launch an external copy of QuickTime, in order to play video types other than AVI.

    mark.
