Bookmarking an object

I am creating a menu for a series of documents from different programs. What I now want to make is that the end user can chooses a maximum of 6 objects and bookmark, so when they acces the bookmarks page, all there more important documents complete with name and reference.

it would be something like the bookmarks in netscape or favorites in IE, but will only be a page, a maximum of 6 objects or documents. Any ideas?
