I have a 16-bit install which i run from AutoPlay Menu, and get lots of errors, particularly on Win '95. Is closing AutoPlay on the start-up of install the only way to stop this?
Does this 16 bit install work when run without AutoPlay Menu Studio? What are some of the errors that you are receiving? Does your 16-bit install work when you go Start -> Run?

The install program runs fine through Start/Run and just by double-clicking in Windows Explorer. It also ran fine with AMS2 menu runtime. It's only when running from AMS3 using the 'execute program' command that it falls over.
Closing the menu on program start also doesn't seem to fix it. May be due to a timing problem.)
Hi,
Have you tried using an OPEN DOCUEMENT action instead? Do you have "Wait For Return" checked in your EXECUTE PROGRAM action? If you do, uncheck that and see if it works.
Do you get this error all the time when using AutoPlay 3.0? Or is it intermittent?

Thanks Mark, I've thought about Open Document too. I'll try that and let you know. Unfortunately, i't the worst type of error - intermittent, works fine on most machines i've tried, but there are a couple.
Mark, FYI I have tried a burn running the install as a document, rather than a program and it appears to work OK. Lots more testing on old WIN'95 machines though.
I still close the menu immediately after starting the install.
