  • Open URL not working

Okay...just tried to burn another CD. Everything now working Except Open URL. When I click on the text that is supposed to go the the website, it says "specified file was not found. Even when I already had the browser open, I get this message. What gives? HELP!! I need this CD working good ASAP!

    Re: Open URL not working

    Hi,

Did this work when you were testing on your system? Or does the OPEN URL command only fail when you burn to CD-ROM?

Perhaps you could outline exactly what your OPEN URL command looks like?

      Re: Open URL not working

      Hi Mark,
This problem happens both in Preview and Build mode. The strange thing is in previous builds, it was working. Now it's not. I have repeatedly re-entered my action information and it is correct. I have just updated the AMS3 applicaton with the latetest patch and also re-installed the software and still no luck. Also AMS does not place the autorun.inf file when I build. So I've had to copy an autorun. inf file from another CD I have. Could I have a corrupt application here? This is very frustrating and my client needs this CD now.

        Re: Open URL not working

        Hi,

What is your default Internet Browser? What version is it? What operating system are you testing this on? Have you tested this on any other systems? What happens if you type the same URL that you are using into START->RUN?

With regards to the autorun.inf file not being created, what are your output settings? When you hit build is the "Create autorun.inf file" checkbox checked?

        mark.

          Hi Mark,
I figured out the problem with techsupport at Indigo rose. Turns out the problem was with the configuration of my browser. My menu only works on systems outside of my company!! It figures. We're weird here.
