Opening web page file

Hi,

I am trying to include a web page I did, and I go

Actions>Execute>Open Document>index

On Preview works fine, but when I build, it doesn't work.

The whole web site file is in the Virtual CD folder, as are all others.

My OS Win 98 SE, and IExplorer 5.0.

Any ideas?

Hi,

This is normal behavior if you are running your AutoPlay Menu from your Hard Drive. This is a result of using the %SrcDrv% variable. During preview %SrcDrv% will be expanded to the path to your Virtual CD-ROM, but during a full build it will be expanded to the "Source Drive"

I have tried a number of ways with %SrcDrv%.

Actions>Open Document
%SrcDrv%\westweb\index.html

Actions>Open URL
%SrcDrv%\westweb\index.html

They work fine on Preview and on Build.

But actual CD ROM, I get message:
"westweb\index.html
The specified file not found"

It is just not making copies of the files into Data Folder, as it does for all the other ones.

I have managed to include 500 mb of video files with no problems, but this one is puzzuling me.

I have to admit, even with above reading material you suggested, I am not confortable with scripting.


The question is:

I have a folder called "westweb", and inside it all normal web site files (index, pages, etc).

And this folder is inside Virtual CD as all other files that work perfect.

What Action should I use, and what %SrcDrv%.....scripting to get it to work?

I got it to work.

Actions>Open URL
%SrcDrv%\westweb\index.html

What I was forgeting to do, was copy/paste westweb folder into CD ROM Output folder.

What was throwing me off, was the fact that all video files I inserted, AMS automaticaly made copies into Data Folder it creates upon Build.

Anyway, it is working.

Another thing you can try is %SrcDir%. I use this on my builds, and that allows me to run it regardless of drive/folder that it's running from. It's completely mobile.
