Is anyone else having problems with fonts in AMS 3.0.7 and Windows XP Pro? AMS works fine accept I cannot change any fonts or build a project as it says:

'The font you have selected is either not a TTF (True Type) or is registered in a non-standard manner'

Anyone got any idea what's causing this?

    Re: AMS and XP Pro

    Hi,

I just tested AutoPlay Menu Studio 3.0.0.7 on Windows XP Professional Version 2002 and I did not have any problems with fonts. I was able to use a variety of fonts, and then preview and build with no errors.

If you look in the registry under: “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts” what does it say for the font Arial?

Are you running an English Language version of XP?

Has anyone else experienced similar problems using Windows XP?

    mark.

Nothing out of the ordinary. Just that it's a Truetype font. That it's type is REG_SZ and then the font file name arial.ttf?

My XP is an earlier build (2545). That can't be it though because the same thing happened on my retail copy of XP home!.

Am I the only one with this problem?

        Hi,

So basically the Arial value looks like this:

        Arial (TrueType) - REG_SZ - ARIAL.TTF

        Is this correct?

Are you running on an English System? What is the build number of your OS version at Home?

Are you using the newest version of AutoPlay 3.0.0.7? You can get the latest updates from HELP -> CHECK FOR UPDATES in AutoPlay 3.0.

Do you have access to any other XP machines that you cant test this on?

Hopefully more user's can come forward, if they are having this problem.

        mark.
