hidden buttons briefly visible

I have a screen where several buttons are normally hidden, but would be visible under certain conditions. When the screen comes up, you can actually see those buttons for a fraction of a second when they are suppossed to be hidden. Is there a trick so nothing shows (even briefly) unless it is suppossed to show? This behaviour is more noticeable in slower PCs.

Several of us have noticed this flash of the hidden objects as a page loads. Do a search and you will find "workarounds" that might or might not work. Here is an example of an earlier post: http://www.indigorose.com/ubb/Forum2/HTML/000515.html

Unfortunately, none of the moderators on this forum have been able to help. Some folks just create another object (box, etc.) to place in front of the object to hide it, but this often doesn't solve it.

I REALLY hope that the next version will NOT have this bug.
