You could convert the mp3 to wav and use the avi object function to play the wav file. Then you could use the "avi finish" feature for the wav file.

How can AMS know when MP3 is finished?
I need to be able to detect when an mp3 has finished playing so I can launch another event.
I have tried to find something to convert mp3 to AVI so I can use the AVI Finished evenvt but haven't found one yet.
Any ideas?

I was converting the MP3 to a WAV and then the WAV to AVI. Didn't know the AVI player would play a WAV file.
Just looking for a way to cut down the "payload" of WAV files. MP3's are so much lighter.
