Problems playing AVI movies

Hi,

I am REALLY new to AMS (only reigstered it yesterday) and am having problems playing AVI files.

What I would like to do is to make a holiday movies cdrom for my extended famnily. I have one page with 4 images on it, and what I would like is to click on the image and then play the movie. What happens is that as soon as the menu starts on the cd it automatically plays the AVI file before I get chance to click on the image.

Help!

Hi,

Double-Click on the AVI Video Object, to view its properties dialog. Then on the Settings tab, uncheck the "Start Automatically" checkbox.

Thanks, does AMS 3.0 provide mpeg playback? or would i have to convert my mpeg's to AVI's? If it does not support mpeg - will version 4?
