  • Update can't find Folders

I recently download the 3.0007 update and when I try to update the program, it searches for the program but can't find it. I am running 3.0 it works fine, but the patch can't find it.

Any assistance would be much appreciated!!

Try copying the update patch into the same folder where you have AutoPlay installed, and run the update patch from there.

If I were you, I would just uninstall AMS. Then re-install. Upon install completion, run the update 3.0.0.7 before you even run AMS. I know un-installing software isn't always the desired method, but more times than not it'll clean everything up enough to run the update.

Yes, Tony is correct. If you uninstall, then reinstall the patch should work correctly.

            i concur with this method.

can ANYONE use the patch without having to uninstall/reinstall ? as it should WORK ?

also is the telephone activation code removed ? it didn't ask me for it after applying the 3.0.0.7 patch.

            thanks..

Actually, when I first installed the patch 3.0.0.7 everything worked fine. And, yes they did remove the call-in activation code that had been previously required when running AMS the first time.
