    Compact Disk Icon

    Okay. I searched the archives and didn't find any references so sue me for asking this question. Anybody out there in the void have that little "Compact Disk Data Storage" logo to print on the CD face? I've spent way too much time surfing the graphics sites and haven't come across a decent copy yet.

    Here's a good start. I think the page is Swedish but you can recognize enough of the text to understand it. They have some great looking logo's

    Another good way to search is going to Google and type in - compact disc digital audio logo. I found many sites with logo's. I realize your looking for the data logo, but the search worked better by putting in audio and most sites it found had both.

      Hey there JBQuinn. You might check out this link http://www.logo.nino.ru/main/?id=135. You can do a search on cd and you'll find several different cd logos in .eps format for your use. There's a ton of other logos available for download.

        Thanx for your help guys. I tried to plop it in my CD label program as I found it on the several sites you mentioned, but the result was pretty blurry. The letters just didn't survive the transition. What I actually ended up doing was to just capture the large word "disk" out of the best of the logos that I found and take out the "COMPACT" and "DATA STORAGE" with PhotoShop. I put the now stripped-down logo in CD Designer and added the "COMPACT" and "DATA STORAGE" as overlayed text. The end result looks pretty good.

          The .eps files that are on the site I referenced in the earlier post are vector files. These are very crisp. You should be able to take any of them are grow or shrink them without any loss of quality. You can then export them out to whatever format you require.

          Although, it does sound like you found a workaround.
