Evaluating result of program execution

I want to be able to run a registration validation program right at the start of an install before I copy and install the bulk of the files. If the validation fails I want to abort the install there and then. I have done this using another stunningly expensive installation system by means of their built-in script language. Can it be done with SUF5? And if so, how?

This really is not possible in Setup Factory. The problem really lies in somehow getting the information back into Setup Factory. Basically you need to store the information somewhere so that Setup Factory can access it, but since Setup Factory reads in all its information (registry, INI files) at the beginning of the setup, your verification program would have to be run before the setup started.
