  • ODBC/User DSN on Win 2000

I am setting up a User DSN, it works fine on Win 95/98. However on windows 2000 it only sets up for the administrator, anyone else who logs on does not have this DSN available to them. How do I make it setup the User DSN for all users? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Maybe try setting up a System DSN. A System DSN is visible to all users.

Ok. That might work. I use this Data Source in Authorware, I'm not sure if it accesses it the same way etc... I will definitely give that a try and see how it works out. Thanks!
      --UPDATE
Authorware is transparant to the type of DSN, it works either way. I'll update on whether it works or not in Win 2000 as soon as I find out, although it sounds like it should.
