I am trying to build a setup file to deliver a .mdb file. In the property settings for the .mdb file, I have selected "Compress File." However, when the build is created, the file is not compressed. Moreover, when I check the properties after attempting compression, "Compress File" is no longer checked.

Any idea why this is happening?

Hi,

The reason that this is happening is because the file is already compressed. Setup Factory 5.0 will not compress a file that is already compressed because this will often result in a larger file.

This is also the reason that the "Compress File" checkbox is being unchecked.
