  • SF6 - Registering components

Why is SF6 postponing the registration of ocx's and dll's after a reboot?

The same setup, created in SF5 registers these components while/after installing them, but SF6 places the actions in the RunOnce registry key.

This forces to restart Windows when it shouldn't be necessary.

    Solutions?

hmmm... ok, I think it was my fault since those files were in use so I guess SF6 was doing the right thing.

I'm still having some problems installing my programs on Windows NT4... but perhaps it's something I'm doing wrong
