SUF6: Action "write to file" fails

It appears to me that the action to write to a text file fails when the text file does not already exist. The user gets the default error message "Could not write to text file", and the setup does not create the file. This obviously is not the intention, because the design dialog for the action has a choice of what to do if the file already exists. Correct?

Sorry, my mistake. The variable was resolving to a folder name instead of a file name.
