  • Calculation of Required Disk Space

    Hopefully I'm forgetting something simple.

I have setup an install with an archive and with some files in the cd-rom tab. The files in the cd-rom tab are assigned to a package which has been included in the default 'complete' install.

On install, when I select the standard install type (without the cd-rom package), I am told the required disk space is ~4mb (correct). When I choose the complete install type (which includes the cd-rom package), I am still told the required disk space is the same. I would expect it to grow by 600mb or so (the size of the cd-rom contents).

Any thoughts as to what am I missing?

    Thanks.

    Kendall,

We have run tests here and it works fine. We cannot simulate the problem that you are experiencing.

Are you sure that that package with the CD-ROM files is included properly in the Complete Install type? Please go to the Package Manager and make sure.

If you need further help, please email [email protected] with your ,sf5 file attached. Please also let us know what OS this occurs on and what version of Setup Factory 5.0 that you are using.
