Re: Configuring ODBC for use with an Oracle Database

The best thing to do is to look at the settings in the Registry for the existing DSN. Try looking at:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ODBC\ODBCINST.INI

There you will find a bunch of settings that might point you in the right direction.

Configuring ODBC for use with an Oracle Database

Hopefully someone can help me with this, as all the examples seem to be with Access.

I am trying to get Setup Factory to connect to an Oracle Database. Let me give you the settings I want and hopefully someone can help.

    Oracle SID - WLMS
Driver - Microsoft ODBC for Oracle
System DSN which I believe is configred by - DSRequest1=ODBC_CONFIG_SYS_DSN

I'm just not sure how to set up the
    [Drivers]
    [Data Sources]

    Thanks for the help,

    Josh
