SF 6 Hangs Registering Fonts

I have an install that registered fonts perfectly under SF5 and is now hanging at "Registering Fonts..." under SF6. This happens under W2k but not 98 or 98SE. I haven't tried XP, ME, NT or 95 yet. I *am* logged in as admin.

We have never encountered any errors registering fonts using SUF60 on any OS. Perhaps you could email [email protected] with the details about what fonts that you are installing along with your project file. Also mention which OSs experience the registration troubles in your email. We will look at your particular case through technical support as there is not a general known problem with this issue.

As I mentioned in the orignal post, it happens under W2k. Another piece of info, I have a DSL line and durning the font registration process, the activity indicator lights up seemingly for every font (there are over 90) being registered. I let the installation sit at "Registering Fonts..." overnight and eventually it finishes (not sure about the actual time). This was a SF5 converstion and it worked perfectly there.
Perhaps you should try it with a large number of fonts on W2K. Create a project that installs 90+ fonts and try it. I will email an FTP link with SF5 and SF6 projects and setup.exe downloads.

OK, you were right. We did some more testing and found a bug which was causing that delay. It will be fixed in the next release next week.

I'm running 6.0.0.4 and I have had the installer hang on 'registering fonts' on a windows 95 and a windows 2000 machine
