  • GPF Opening a Project in 6.0.0.2

    OS = 98SE

    I just installed the 6.0.0.2 update and began rebuilding my projects -- there are three. I opened the first project, which contains about 100 files and rebuilt it with no problems. I then selected File/Open and browsed to the next project (512 files), double clicked and the following GPF occurred (I was able to open and succesfully build the project after restarting SF):

    SUF60DESIGN caused an invalid page fault in
    module SUF60DESIGN.EXE at 025f:00477f27.

    Hi,

    I have tried to recreate this, but I have been unable. Has it happened to you again? Or does this seem to be an isolated incident?

    Do you know if the projects were converted from 5.0? Or do you know which version of Setup Factory 6.0 they were originally created with?

    mark.

      Mark,

      I was a converted project from 5.0 that was built and saved with 6.0.0.1 *before* I installed the 6.0.0.2 patch. It seems to be an isolated incident. It has not happened again. I just wanted to post the error code to see if it meant anything to you.

        Hi,

        Thanks for the post; we appreciate all posts like that, even if they turn out to be isolated incidents.

        If anything else comes up be sure to post it.
