Radio buttons variables - no default set

It appears that if I do not set a default redio button the variables are not populated with the users selection.

If I set a default value everything works ok. I think I can get around it for now by selecting a non-visible button as the default.

I have done some testing and yes, this seems to be a bug. I have notified our developers of this problem. Thank you for bringing this to our attention
