  • Edit SUF Summary Report

Can I export a Summary, modify it and reimport it back into SUF? There are certain crazy things that are easier done via scripting than GUI, Like I need to set 100 conditions, I could do it in 10 sec in a text file, but the GUI forces me to do each one at a time.

Any help thanks - I am using SUF 5, please don't tell me this feature is in 6 now, I'll go crazy!!

    Thanks

Even better...SF6 lets you modify the conditions for multiple files at once. Just select the files you want to modify, and then edit the conditions...you can even choose whether the new condition text will be appended, prepended, etc.

As for SF5...I can't remember if you can select multiple files and then edit their conditions.

I just checked, and you can add conditions to multiple files at once in SF5...but I don't think you can edit the existing conditions (or remove them) that way.

Thanks for lookin into that - but I wnated to edit a bunch of conditions and each one is a little unique, that's why I was hoping for an ability to edit the summary report and re-import it.
I could set up a macro.

        Thanks

Sorry, that isn't possible in SF5 (or SF6 for that matter, although SF6 does make it easier to do, with AND/OR support, etc.).

We actually considered this kind of feature for SF6, but it was decided against for various reasons.

It's likely that this sort of thing will become possible...there is a particular feature we might be implementing in a future version that would give you greater control over the design environment.
