  • Executing DOS executables

First thing to do is saying that SF is the easiest installer I ran into. My compliments.

I created a setup and after running the installation, an addition driver has to be installed. Someone will probably recognize it. It's the hinstall.exe which installs the alladin hasp driver.
I could use the 32-bit version, but sometimes I run into a 16-bit user and have to execute it from the DOS prompt.
    How to do this?

The driver is installed in the %AppDir%\driver directory and the command is Hinstall \i

    Anybody help?

    Kind Regards,

    Henk

When you say "a 16-bit user" what exactly do you mean? Someone running a 16-bit OS, like Windows 3.1? (Setup Factory 5 and 6 only support 32-bit Windows operating systems, i.e. Win95 and up.)

At one time I was quite familiar with the internal workings of Aladdin's parallel port drivers but I don't remember any specifics about hinstall itself.
