  • How to remove traces of intermediate setup

    I have to build a global installation process with several stages :
    1. Install some files in Dir1 which remain as application files at the end of the rocess
    2. I have a program (Prog2) to install, starting from its own setup (Setup 2 in Dir 2);
    I want to run the Setup 2 to install Prog 2 then remove all content of Dir 2 to prevent further copy and distribution.

    The installation will be run from an AutoPlay application.

    Thanks for information

    I don't think that should be a problem. In your second installation, you should be able to create the appropriate "Delete Files" actions to delete the setup.exe and any other files and a "Remove Directory" action to remove the folder itself. You would place all of these actions on the SHUTDOWN actions tab.

    Hope that helps.
