Register Fonts Lockup

Hi all.
My setup program is hanging, when it is registering files. I look at the setup log and it gets as far as [Registering Fonts]. I have no fonts to register. I found numerous references to this error on this forum, one message said it was supposed to be fixed in one of the updates, well I have the latest update and it fails all the time. I never got this untill I had to change the setup to add some Crystal Reports 9.0 dlls from 8.5.

I did all the other recommended things like reboot and shutdown outlook, but to no avail.

If the problem is withthe new Crystal dlls why does it hang at registering fonts.

What version of Setup Factory are you using? Be sure to update to the latest version...

Hi Lorne.

I am using the latest version 6.0.1.2

However after much more giref I have determined that it will install on systems with Crystal 9 installed on them, but not on systems without Crystal 9. Therefore it seems to me that it must be a dll problem, probably missing some dependancy. It just showed up as the old Register Fonts problem because that is where it stopped in the log file.
