Focus on Package Checkboxes

Right now when my Package Selection screen loads, the focus is set on the Next button. It would be nice if the focus was rather set on the Selection Area, so I can press space bar to select or unselect the check boxes.. But I am having to actually click in the selection area first to get focus, and then press space to select/unselect.. is there a way to change this focus?
