  • "Verify Archive" incompatible with Output to 1.44MB floppies?

I had the "Verify Archive before installing" checked in General Design's Settings tab. In the Project Settings, I selected the Output file segment size of "1.44MB Floppy".

When I ran the install, it compained about the verification failing. The verify works fine if my Output file segment size is "Largest Possible".

Yes, the Verify Archive option can only be used if all of the archive is located on the same disk, it will not verify across disks. The following is copied from the Command Reference for that feature:

    "Verify archive before installing
If checked, the setup will verify that all of its data is present before continuing with the installation. This option requires that you build the setup executable as a single file. Note: You should only use this option when your setup will be downloaded from a relatively unreliable transfer source such as the Internet. There is no need to use this option for floppy or CD-ROM installs."
