How do I find the PC's cdrom drive letter? If the user installs from the cdrom, I can use %SrcDrv%, but if they install from the network this will be invalid. Is there any way to search for the PC's cdrom drive letter?

Re: Find PC's cdrom drive letter
Hi,
There is no action that will provide you with that information, however one method may be to prompt the user for this information using the "Select Drive" screen and check the option "CD-ROM" drives so it only displays their CD-ROM drives available. They can then select the drive and it will be stored in the variable.
It may be stored in the Registry somewhere, however I couldn't find any information when I searched briefly.
Hope that helps.
