  • installing "runtime" modules

I tried to install a runtime module (downloaded from IR.com)
I get "A valid installation of Setup Factory 6.0 has not been found on your system. This setup will now abort."

I even tried reinstalling, no go.

    ideas?

    Re: installing "runtime" modules

Which runtime module are you currently trying to install? If something has changed since you initially installed, there may be a problem with the validation of the software, however reinstalling has always solved that problem. You may also want to try downloading the runtime module install file again. It may have gotten corrupted in some way during the download.

I have a few questions for you:

    What OS are you using?
What build of Setup Factory are you using?
Where is your software currently installed?
Where you are launching the runtime module install from? Try placing it within the Setup Factory directory and launching it from there.

As I asked in my previous question, which runtime module in particular are you having problems with? Is there a particular one, or all of them?
