  • Uninstall -- Automatic "restore" of backup?

When a file is backed up on install; it's made .bk1 etc.
When the file is uninstalled, is that .bk1 automatically restored? It doesn't seem as if it is. So the file is uninstalled; but if it replaced something; that something is left as a backup -- is there a call in SUF that can automatically restore the latest backup?

No, there is no automatic feature, however you can accomplish that functionality through actions in the uninstall. For example, you could search for all files with the .bk extension, then loop through the delimited string list, stripping off the extra extension and renaming the file to it's original name.

    Hope that helps.
