irsetup.exe - Entry Point Not Found

hello,
recently i downloaded an application that was packaged using the setup factory 6. when i try to install it however I get an error
(The procedure entry point SetHandleContext could not be located in the dynamic library KERNEL32.dll.)
i have tried deleting the contents of my temp folder but still no luck... should i try deleting registry entries for irsetup?
any help would be much appreciated
