We use SF for install of our products. I proposed another use and they suggested I ask here. We send executables and external install packages to our employees for use at home (ie, Anti-Virus, OS patches, VPN, Citrix Client, etc). Can SF be used to simply create a menu of products a user wishes to install and run these executables based on the selections? Or is SF overkill for this purpose?

Re: Use of Setup Factory - Overkill?
While technically you could repackage these applications into a single setup.exe using Setup Factory 6.0, it would certainly require a good bit of effort to do.
In my opinion, a much better solution would be to use AutoPlay Media Studio to create a front-end menu for a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM that contains all of the original installers. Offering the end-user options to click on each product to launch the installer is a very common use of AutoPlay Media Studio. It would certainly work in your situation.
