How do I use the MDAC 2.5 runtime file instead of 2.6 or 2.7?

Hi,

If you are going to distribute MDAC 2.5 what you will have to do is include the MDAC 2.5 installer in your installation. You can get it here: http://www.microsoft.com/data/download.htm.

Then you will have to execute the installer on either the “After Installing”, or “On Shutdown” event. There are a variety of command line parameters available. The Setup Factory runtime modules use this argument: /c:"Setup.exe /QN1"
