We would have to see, but someone posted a way to embed a control in an input (if I remember well), so there must be a way!

it all depends on if the control alows you to set its container hWnd, iv only found a few that allow that, ill have a look at tho

Is there an update to this thread? I'd sure love to use something other than IE for the browser.

You could bundle a Firefox Portable with your app, and embed it into your App.

BTW, there is a thread about this already:

Hi! Yes, and is very easy:

            1) Download and install the last version of Mozilla Control.

            2) Download and unpack this patch:

            3) Use the iepatcher.exe to apply the patch in your "autoplay.exe" or directly in your "win32rt.dat" of your AMS installation (to apply this in all your new ams projects).

PS1: the Mozilla control installation will be always required.
PS2: Suggestion: create a "mozilla control detection" for AMS.
PS3: I think possible to merge a AMS application with the Mozilla control with thinstall. With it, the mozilla control installation will be not required.
            PS4: sorry, I don't know English.

                        It dont work!

I did every step, then in AMS I created a web object, default url (indigorose.com) and it came up asking if I wanted to set a cookie, looked and it is STILL Internet Explorer, not firefox

Strange, works fine with me... Look the attached image.

                          More details:

                          1) Build your project with the option "HARD DRIVE". Will not work with "Web/Email executable".

                          2) Use the iepatcher.exe downloaded from my previous post to apply the patch in your "autoplay.exe". A new file "moz_autorun.exe" will be created: Replace the original .exe with this new one.

                          3) Make sure: the mozilla control is really installed in your computer (or the web object will be replaced by a blank space).
