Using SUF 9.5, in some setup projects, after exiting the setup, the IRSETUP.EXE file remains in the _TempLaunchFolder. This does not happen with all projects and I am trying to figure out what are the situations where IRSETUP.EXE will remain?

Ideally, the runtime would be deleted when the installation tasks are finished. However, there could be a problem with a plugin, which doesn't unload itself from memory, or the executable may be locked by the background virus scanner, so the self-deletion fails. Try to use a clean (empty) installer, and see if the problem happens, then add the custom code incrementally and check what may be triggering the problem.
