  • License Agreement Screen PopUp as "On Ctrl Message unfinished string near"

    Hello,

I'm using License Agreement in one of my installer, and wrote some EULA text. When I execute my installer setup and navigating to License Agreement screen. There is scroll bar, so when I click on scroll bar to read the text, getting an error as mentioned below

    ---------------------------
    Error
    ---------------------------
On Ctrl Message, Line 0: unfinished string near '"ITSupport247-DPMA Agent- End User License Agreement'
    ---------------------------
    OK
    ---------------------------

    Thanks in Advance.

Please zip the project file and the license text file, and attach it here, or send me a support ticket in the Customer Portal. Past week I received a similar report, but I could not replicate the issue, and have not heard back from the customer yet about the modified project I provided. I wonder if there is something in common here.

I am using the current version, while you apparently are still running Setup Factory 9.1. I am unsure if this could be the reason, but I suggest that you try to build this using the evaluation version 9.5 on a different computer, or update to the current commercial release, and see if you still have the problem.

Also, I suspect that you pasted this license text. Please make sure that the text is ANSI formatted, and does not contain Unicode characters. Any unsupported characters using the wrong encoding could cause runtime errors.
