Add and Remove Programs entry

I am distributing an update of my previous application that is installed over the old version. However, the problem is that there are 2 entries in the "Add and Remove Programs folder. Is there a way to delete the previous entry first?

Of course. Was the previous version also installed with Setup Factory?
