Starting Installer with switches

the installer has no way to know where it was downloaded from.
The easiest way to achieve this would be to use the same installer, but with different names for different download locations. Then when run the installer can read its own name and save it somewhere.

Hello

We are looking for a way to let the installer tell us where the user that downloaded it came from.... and for the installer to then add this to a config file in some way...

The process would be:

User downloads installer from site A
Installer is downloaded and run
Installer adds a reference to site A in a config file

User downloads installer from site B
Installer is downloaded and run
Installer adds a reference to site B in a config file

We can now see which users were referred by site A and which by site B

Is there any way to do this without multiple installers?
