Kaspersky AV detects irsetup.exe as PDM:Trojan.Win32.Generic.

    Hi Ulrich.

    This was just something that was reported to us from our Japanese distributors. Could maybe be a signature issue on their Kaspersky AV (KAV), but they are very tech savvy, and I doubt they are running a very old version, and they repeated the finding on 2 computers. It warned first time, subsequent times it was ok (so maybe it learned, or was trained). It (KAV) might be doing its heuristic scanning looking for behaivoural markers. I don't know if any of their customers also reported it.

    Sorry, I cannot confirm this false positive. No AV engine with today's definition (7/22/2015) is flagging the irsetup.exe, as you can see here.

    You may have indeed a problem on your build computer, or the false positive was already corrected.

    This is for SF9.5, we deployed our first installer based on this version of SF yesterday.

    You may want to contact Kaspersky Labs about it.
