Refresh Desktop after Update

If you run the updater as admin, then you could kill explorer.exe, it should automatically restart after a second, which may solve your issue. If the updater does not run as admin, you need to restart explorer.exe via script after killing it.

During our update process we add and remove short cuts from the desktop. However, these are not shown properly until the user does a Refresh (right click on desktop and select Refresh). Is there are way of invoking this Refresh automatically after these desktop changes?
