Disable compression of files in visual patch 3.8.1

There is no advanced tab in the properties window of any file I want to stop compression of that said file(s). I have tried to force the install and I still get the following error - Error 2091: Failed to compress files (18) stage 1
Any help would be appreciated

The error code 18 given during the compression phase means that a file could not be read/accessed.

18—ZE_OPEN  // could not open a specified file to read

Please check that the file can be reached by the user account running Visual Patch, and that there is no antivirus running in the background scanning the file during the access attempt. If you have an antivirus/antimalware product installed, please make sure that the source and work folders are whitelisted and not scanned during the build process.
